I can write messages to myself, tricking my brain into seeing the truth behind a mask that I put on myself. This is a newfound tool of self-reflection that I discovered while experiencing a constant block when needing and trying to reflect.

Dear Nils,

"Less is More"

Take small steps, don't constantly focus on the bigger picture, and try to act on this smaller scale. Occasionally, step back to see the bigger picture, but primarily, operate on a smaller scale; anything else is simply not feasible. Leave certain things behind. You can't carry everything with you, even if it holds emotional ties to the past or the present.

"You cant be there for someone else if you are not even there for yourself"

You can't! It's not possible! Really, it's not! First, take the time and space you need to care for yourself before even considering being there for someone else.

"Take the Bottom-Up-Approach"

Your body comes first; it has the most significant impact on your emotions and your comfort. It's not about your head; it's about your body. Your body needs to be comfortable for you to have comfortable thoughts. Sit comfortably, be mindful of the space around you, and design a physical space that caters to your comfort needs.

Start with your Body (Note in Book 4_s.37)

"Give yourself time. There is ALWAYS enough time for the right work."

Your body comes first; it has the most significant influence on your emotions and your comfort. It's not about your head; it's about your body. Your body needs to be comfortable for you to have comfortable thoughts. Sit comfortably, be mindful of the space around you, and design a physical space to meet your comfort needs.

If it takes you a long time, put the concept of 'long' into perspective relative to the duration of your life. It's a short period of discomfort for a long time of comfort. It's okay to take your time, to think, and to make space for other emotions in between difficult ones.

There is always time for the right work.

THE"RIGHT WORK" IS WHAT RESONATES WITH YOU
(Zitat von Brandy Butler) (Note in Book 4_s.5)

"You don't need to feel the same as other people do. Feel how you truly feel!"

Your emotions reside in your body, not just your head! If you think you should feel a certain way, remind yourself to listen to your body and how you truly feel. Make space to check in with your body. Protect your feelings; don't let anybody tell you otherwise. Avoid overanalyzing why you feel differently, and don't begin to pressure yourself or let others do so!
