Workshop

Introduction

In this Workshop, I learnde the importance of prioritizing comfort in various aspects of life. We also explored concepts related to accessibility and self-responsibility.

The Significance of Accessibility

Accessibility is a unique and crucial element that underpins our interactions and collaborations with others.

Self-Responsibility and Collective Responsibility

Before expecting others to answer certain questions in collaborative endeavors, it is essential to engage in self-reflection.

The Disembodying Strategy of Colonialism

Colonialism employs a strategy that disconnects individuals from their emotions, leading to a sense of disembodiment.

Challenging the Demands of Capitalism

Capitalism often pushes individuals to work tirelessly and make sacrifices at the expense of their well-being. Rebeka advocates for a different perspective, emphasizing the profound meaning of our lives and our individual purposes.

Cultural Shaping and Denial of Bodies

Our lives have been shaped by a culture that compels us to deny the needs and signals of our bodies, affecting our overall well-being.

Shaping Our Actions

The choices we make in life are influenced by our past experiences and upbringing. Rebeka spoke of the importance of actively choosing a different path, particularly in terms of accessibility and sustainability.

Prioritizing Comfort and Well-being

Intro into the concept of prioritizing comfort and well-being as a fundamental principle.

Accepting Unpleasant Experiences

Not every situation or experience is meant to be pleasant. It's important to acknowledge and accept discomfort. We explored the value of asking, "Why doesn't it feel good?"

Message to myself

So, dear Nils, as you continue your journey, remember that you are worthy of comfort, love, and happiness. Life is a beautiful collection of moments, and each one of them should be lived with compassion and intention. Prioritize your well-being, because you matter.
